| Project Description: |
| The Basic Science Building has gone through many small
renovation projects to the laboratories and offices. This project renovated
the entry lobby. The old doors were replaced with all glass allow natural
light to enter the space. A lowered soffit in purple provides a defined
space for the seasonal tables and desks used for various functions. The
remainder of the ceiling is vaulted and gives a design focus similar to
waves. The colors are bright and the display cases are new. The existing
wood paneling was retained as a link to the past history of the building. |
