| Project Description: |
|
Eagle Crest is a newer golf course located east of Escondido, California in hilly
terrain. The clubhouse is a temporary structure located in a modular prefabricated
building. With an increase in play, and a desire to attract more tournaments,
the owners decided to add a structure to inexpensively house tournaments and
to upgrade the interior of the temporary clubhouse. The following features
were incorporated.
|
- A wood framed deck over the sloping terrain. The deck is covered with
a wood and steel framed awning, sheltering the deck from the intense
sun in the area as well as the occasional winter rain.
- A new awning covered front entrance to give greater identity to the
temporary clubhouse.
- Improved exterior and interior colors, as well as new case work, lighting,
restroom upgrades and other remodeling.
